CHEAPEST UMPC MID ANDROID 1.6 TABLET

The 7-inch slate actually has plenty to recommend it.  A sub-$100 street price in China is no small part of that, of course, but apparently despite the 600MHz ARM9 processor and resistive display, it’s actually “very responsive” and in fact the best implementation of Android on this sort of device that they’ve seen.

You’re also using Android 1.6 than one of the more recent builds, and – because there’s a proprietary docking connector rather than a microUSB port – the only way to get data onto the tablet is either via SD card or through the WiFi connection.

The deciding factor to a gadget like this is always going to be price; if an importer can bring it in for a similar cost to what the M001 is going for in China then they’ll likely find some buyers.  Any more and it’s probably not worth it for the processing power and capabilities on otter.

Motorola DROID Multimedia Docking Station

| | Posted on

I really wanted this for my Droid, and its good quality. When you place your Droid in this Charging Cradle/"Multimedia Station", it charges you battery and magnets activate a Multimedia mode on your phone, allowing you to brows photos, listen to music, and work with your alarm clock right on your nightstand. Not owning an iPod, I can't tell you how much I love having all mp3's and so forth available right next to my bed. This is a lovely product.

Pros and Cons:

1) The magnets override your lock feature, which may be a security issue for some.

2) The Droid won't fit in the cradle with any kind of body armor/silicone/hard plastic case attached around it. You'll have to take this off when you want to use the cradle.

3) The Multimedia mode has a built-in "dimmer" switch for night time use, but I personally find even that setting emits too much light in my room, and that makes me crazy. If you don't have an issue with things emitting light while you sleep, this is a non-issue for you.

4) The cord that comes with the cradle is the same as comes with the phone- its VERY short. I had to use a USB extension cable to get from an outlet to my nightstand.

I really like this though- the problems I have all me.

1) Beautiful and compact

2) Easy to exit dock mode and access most other Smartphone functions.

Cons:
1) There is only one dimming level, which is still fairly bright in a dark room.

2) When the display is dimmed, there is little contrast between the numbers and the background, making the display hard to read. This
problem could be solved if the background and/or time coloring were customizable, but this is not the case.

3) When placing a call while the droid is in the dock, the in-call screen does not shift into landscape mode, making it difficult (but not impossible) to accesses the features such as the dial-pad and speaker button.

4) The buttons on the bottom of the screen stay illuminated, regardless of if the screen is dimmed or not.

5) It would be nice to change the widget buttons while in the multimedia dock mode. For example, I do not use the built-in android alarm clock (I use the app Math Alarm Clock), so I would like to have direct access to that application instead of the standard alarm.

6) Sometimes it takes a while for the weather to update. Importantly, the latest droid update mostly fixed this problem, giving me hope that other issues will be fixed in the future.

7) There is no audio jack to send music to speakers

8) Expensive (especially since you can make your own dock with multimedia mode easily)

MEMBANGUN WARNET SEDERHANA

MEMBANGUN WARNET SEDERHANA

  2. 1 Unit PC server, saya sarankan minimal Intel P4 2.4 Ghz, Ram 1 Gb, VGA 64 Mb, Hardisk 80 Gb, Monitor cukup 15” digital saja, dana yang diperlukan kira-kira Rp. 2.500.000,00.

PERKIRAAN UNTUNG RUGI DAN BEP (Break Event Point)

    2. Biaya listrik 1 bulan dengan 11 PCnyala terus 24 jam Rp. 1.500.000,00.
    3. Untuk gaji karyawan (operator) 2 shift(12 jam Kerja) Rp. @ Rp. 750.000,00 = Rp. 1.500.000,00
    4. Total biaya rutin yang dikeluarkandalam 1 bulan rata-rata Rp. 4.000.000,00

Microsoft Make a smart phone is "Kin"

      | | Posted on

Kin One and Kin Two By Microsoft

WASHINGTON, Following Nexus One made by Google, Microsoft has been playing on any smartphone platform to launch their own product designs. Two types of Microsoft's smartphone design was named Kin.

Both phones introduced is "Kin" on Monday (12/4/2010) U.S. time is aimed at younger users who are now beset 'fever' social networks. Kin One and Kin Two are made by Japanese manufacturer Sharp Corp. and will be sold first time with with Verizon Wireless in the U.S. in the near future and catch up in Europe.

"Kin is an interesting item for the target market of young people aged 15 to 25 years," said Ross Rubin, analyst at NPD Group market. He said if it did not sell well in the market, but Microsoft has introduced a new concept in the smartphone market.

Kin concept is to unite the various social networks the flow of information from Facebook, My Space, and Twitter in one screen. Users can also set a network of friends to share photos, weblink, and others.

All data generated in the mobile phone are stored in Microsoft's server and can be accessed via the internet. Kin also automatically backing up text messages, phone lists, photos, videos, and contacts in the server and can be configured with an application called Kin Studio.

This smartphone slider form, using the touch screen and QWERTY keyboard that appears when his slide-shifted. One is designed to be operated comfortably with one hand while Kin two with wider screen and can record HD quality video. Kin also integrates with the Zune music player and FM radio.

And also Kin use new generation of windows 7 mobile for operating system.

      HTC TOUCH HD From China

      | | Posted on

With Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system  look similar with original HTC from HTC factory at Taiwan.

HTC is quite generous with the package, the box itself is cool and we get a pouch and an extra stylus. The “commons” include the phone, battery, charger, handsfree, USB cable, 2 stylus (1 extra), screen protector, 2 CD-ROM and 1 user’s guide.
On its first start-up, the bundled programs are installed and configured. There is no need to do any manual installation yourself. You don’t even need to use the bundled CD-ROM.

That’s all the keys we have on the phone. Besides the usual Answer/Reject, there is also a home screen that brings back the TouchFLO 3D and a back key for going to the previous page.

Traditionally HTC uses a USB-to-3.5mm adapter for handsfree. To make it more music-friendly HTC threw in a 3.5mm jack for our favorite earphone. The power button can toggle the power-save mode and the full function mode.

The mini-USB port is here, although it looks a bit different than the standard mini-USB port you can use standard cable with no problem. The stylus on the bottom right corner is magnetized so that it “clips on” the phone automatically at close proximity. Pulling out the stylus also wakes up the phone from power-save mode.

The Qualcomm 7201A CPU is no longer the fastest CPU out there. The Marvell CPU found on the Samsung i900 Omnia is the new speed champion. Rumor has it that the TouchFLO 3D is customized for the Qualcomm CPU and that it would be hard to switch to Marvel. Anyways, you shouldn’t notice the speed difference in most cases and the HTC Touch HD is very responsive most of the time.

The bundled application suite is quite nice. You can open PDF files, zip files, and made long voice recording without hunting for 3rd party software.

The keyboard is a pain! While it enlarges the key after each press like the iPhone 3G, the crowdedness of the keys make it very easy to mistype. Luckily there are 3rd party input methods like TouchPal and Tengo that can bring back the speed in typing on the HTC Touch HD.

"Since its internal storage is only 512MB, using a microSD card is unavoidable. The slot is hidden beneath the battery so you need to turn it off, change it, wait about 1 minute before you can access the content. Just this time only, I think HTC made a correct choice. I wouldn’t want to find a microSD card slot on the gorgeous, one-piece body.

The HTC Touch HD comes very close to perfection. The screen is simply beautiful, TouchFLO 3D is finally smooth enough to use, 3.5mm jack is a belated but welcomed move, thickness is well controlled at 12mm and the 5MP, auto-focus camera is great. Minor glitches include difficulty in changing card, lack of flash and slow auto-focus speed, but they are not serious enough to prevent from being the WM phone champion."

And this phone made by China Mainland (not original HTC) you can buy jus bellow 200 USD

7 Reason ipad not nice product

      | | Posted on

New product from Apple is apparently going to be a new phenomenon in the world of technology. Where as we said Steve Jobs, CEO Apple, i pad it is like a tablet, so it was in between a smartphone and notebook. But in my opinion, the latest features of this apple brought ipad not too "well" or if you can say just like a large iphone.

      1. There was no camera
Unfortunately these tablets have not got a camera, maybe the iphone is still better at it.

      2. Can not mulitasking & one app at one time
Here it is most unfortunate, because today people need to open the application in time become more important 1. Maybe for this one, for a product of google phone - Google nexus stripped one step better at information.

      3. Does not support Flash
That means we can not fully ria to surf in cyberspace. And when this product releases speech Steve Jobs said we would be able to enjoy the Internet with just the touch of a finger without constraint. But apparently not been proven. That means I can not maen game online bloons my favorite

      4. No OS??
All the programs that exist here only in the form of an application from apple iphone just no its operating system. So once again, just like i phone.

      5. EBook Reader?? so what
The greatness of this pad i was able to read the e book. Wado .. maybe if it was going to read ebook talaga, better to buy from amazon kindle aja. Less expensive, lightweight, and practically taken where where.

      6. Can use for comunication Phone or sms
Sampe the ipad own now can not accept phone or sms as well. Again another point -1.

      7. Large size
Not flexible size for this you can review by your own.

But still if i have to compare the pad with smartphones and netbooks, sy is still better to buy the iphone or google nexus stripped wrote. Toh also not lose much features. Also seems ipad display of this rather small for the size of a tablet.

He.he much for apple ipad wrote a review this time. This paper is not the intention to drop the apple. Only just vent and personal opinions. The problem is going to sell products or not, i don't know. That depends team is apple marketer.

      Iphone China

      NEXUS ONE GOOGLE

      | | Posted on

The Nexus One. In the modern climate of hyped (and over-hyped) smartphone launches, Google's official entry into the phone-sales game has excelled in a department where many find difficulty: generating legitimate excitement. Of course, long before the name Nexus One or the recent bounty of pictures and details existed, the very concept of a "Google Phone" had been ingrained in the public conscience, predating even the Open Handset Alliance and Android itself; the company dabbled in the concept of direct sales through its offering of the Android Dev Phones 1 and 2 (alias Ion), but this time, it's a public retail ordeal, not a couple of one-off developer specials. The genuine-article Google Phone is finally here -- for better or worse.

The device, a Snapdragon-powered, HTC-built phone looks -- on paper, at least -- like the ultimate Android handset, combining a newly tweaked and tightened user interface with killer industrial design. A sleek, streamlined phone that can easily go toe-to-toe with the iPhone 3GSs, Pres, and Droids of the world, powered by the latest version of Android (2.1 "Flan," if you're counting), and hand-retooled by Google. But is it all it's cracked up to be? Can the Nexus One possibly live up to the hype ascribed to it? And more importantly, is the appearance of the phone the death knell for the OHA and a sign of the coming Android autocracy? In our exclusive review of the Nexus One, we'll answer all those pressing questions and more... so read on for the full scoop!

      Hardware

As we said in the intro -- and our previous hands-on write up -- the Nexus One is nothing if not handsome. From its ultra-thin body to sleek, curved edges, the phone is absolutely lustworthy. While it's unmistakably HTC, there are plenty of design cues that feel authentically Google as well -- and it's that balance which makes the phone such an intriguing piece of hardware.
When you first lay eyes on the Nexus One, you can almost hear someone at Google say something like, "Make us something as sexy as the iPhone, but let's not forget what got us here" -- "what got us here" being the G1, which Google worked tightly with HTC to create. Whether you love or hate the iPhone, it's hard to deny its obvious physical attractiveness, and it's clear that Google and HTC made strides to bring an Android handset into the same realm of base desirability that Apple's halo device occupies. For the most part, they've succeeded. The phone shape finds itself somewhere between the iPhone and Palm Pre -- taking the Pre's curved, stone-like shape and stretching it into something resembling a more standard touchscreen device (a la the Hero or Instinct). The body of the handset is comprised of what appears to the eye as two interlocking pieces, a main, dark gray housing (coated in a soft-touch treatment) which is intersected and wrapped by a lighter gray, smooth, almost metallic band. The overall effect is fluid, though we're not crazy about the choice of coloring -- we would have liked to see something a little more consistent as opposed to the two-tone, particularly when the choice of hues is this drab and familiar. Still, the shape and size of the phone is absolutely fantastic; even though the surface of the device houses a 3.7-inch display, the handset generally feels trimmer and more svelte than an iPhone, Hero, and certainly the Droid.

HTC has managed to get the thickness of the phone down to just 11.5mm, and it measures just 59.8mm and 119mm across and up and down -- kind of a feat when you consider the guts of this thing. In the hand it's a bit lighter than you expect -- though it's not straight-up light -- and the curved edges and slightly tapered top and bottom make for a truly comfortable phone to hold. On the glass-covered front of the device there are four "hardware" buttons (just touch-sensitive spots on the display) laid out exactly as the Droid's four hard keys: back, menu, home, and search. Clearly this is going to be something of a trend with Google-approved devices.
Unlike the Droid, the Nexus One has a trackball just below those buttons that should feel very familiar to Hero users -- the placement feels a bit awkward here, and there's literally nothing in the OS that requires it. Along the left side you've got a volume rocker, up top there's a sleep / wake / power button on one end, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the other, and along the bottom there's a micro-USB port, a mic hole, and three gold dots that look destined for some kind of dock (which would jibe with what we've seen and heard). Around back you'll find the strangely pronounced 5 megapixel camera and accompanying LED flash, along with Google's Android mascot holding up a QR code -- a decidedly geeky Google touch that we expect won't make it to the final retail version. The layout of the phone is solid, though we would have liked a physical camera key (no biggie), and we actually had some real trouble with those four dedicated buttons. Hopefully it was just our review unit, but the target areas seemed to be too high on the row, and we found ourselves consistently accidentally tapping them while composing an email or text message, or missing them when we tapped a little too low. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was definitely maddening -- especially considering that we don't have similar issues on the Droid.

Despite the minor niggles, HTC and Google have put together pretty damn good looking and feeling phone; it's not without faults, but they're pretty few and far between.
As you've heard, the Nexus One runs atop the much-hyped, rarely seen 1GHz Snapdragon CPU from Qualcomm (the same processor powering the HD2) -- really the highlight of this show. The phone also has 512MB of both RAM and ROM, but those hoping for new application storage options will find themselves out of luck yet again -- you're still limited to that small partition for app use. The display is an AMOLED, 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen, and the handset also contains a light sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer, along with an HSPA-capable GSM radio (AWS and euro 2100MHz bands only for 3G -- sorry AT&T users), WiFi, the prerequisite AGPS chip, and a microSD slot (which comes loaded with a 4GB card, but is expandable to 32GB). By late-2009 / early-2010 standards, there's really nothing notable about the guts of this phone beyond the presence of a Snapdragon processor, and even that left something to be desired. The phone is fast, assuredly, but not so much of a leap up from the Droid that we felt it kept pace with the boost we were expecting. Scrolling lists and opening apps seemed speedy, but put simply, it's not a whole new Android experience (we'll talk more about this in the software section).
The 3.7-inch display should be stunning -- and is for the most part -- but we did have some issues with it (at least on the unit we have). In terms of touch sensitivity, the display is as good or better than any Android phone we've used. While the resolution is high (480 x 800), it's missing 54 pixels that we expected given the size of the Droid's screen. It didn't bother us that much, but it's noticeable in certain apps -- Gmail for instance, where you have to scroll further in some menus than you do on the Droid. The big issue with the screen, though, is actually the color balance. We found colors on the Nexus One, particularly in the reds and oranges, to be severely blown-out and oversaturated -- a common effect with AMOLED displays like the Nexus One's. At first we thought Google had tweaked some of the Market settings because the highlight orange was so bright, but comparing images on the web across different displays, the Nexus One consistently looked brighter then it should have. Oh, and using this thing in daylight? Forget about it. Like most screens of this type, the Nexus One is a nightmare to see with any kind of bright light around, and snapping photos with it on a sunny day was like taking shots with your eyes closed.
One place where the Nexus One seems to be improving things is in the camera department. Not only has Google bumped up the speed of the camera app (which we're still not that stoked about in general), but the 5 megapixel lens and flash took sharp, detailed images with none of the HTC-related issues we've seen on other models. The focus of the lens was super speedy, and images came out looking more or less as we'd hoped. The flash felt a bit stark at times, but given its size, we didn't lose too much sleep over it. One place where Google has really made some smart decisions is within the Gallery application. Instead of the drab, flat iterations of Android past, the new version is extremely attractive and user friendly, giving you far more options than before (like a nice pan and scan slideshow) and making browsing photos a much more enjoyable experience.
